16 Personalities Quiz // Results

This quiz wasn’t very long and honestly worth the time. It gives you so much information about your life. My results showed that I am The Campaigner,  I am Extraverted – 71%, Intuitive – 70%, Feeling – 59%, Prospecting – 72%, Turbulent – 80%. My role is a diplomat and my strategy is social engagement.

Let me break down the results a little more.

MIND- This trait determines how we interact with our environment. Extraverted individuals prefer group activities and get energized by social interaction. They tend to be more enthusiastic and more easily excited than introverts.

ENERGY- This trait shows where we direct our mental energy. Intuitive individuals are very imaginative, open-minded and curious. They prefer novelty over stability and focus on hidden meanings and future possibilities.

NATURE- This trait determines how we make decisions and cope with emotions. Feeling individuals are sensitive and emotionally expressive. They are more empathic and less competitive than Thinking types and focus on social harmony and cooperation.

TACTICS- This trait reflects our approach to work, planning, and decision-making. Prospecting individuals are very good at improvising and spotting opportunities. They tend to be flexible, relaxed nonconformists who prefer keeping their options open.

IDENTITY- This trait underpins all others, showing how confident we are in our abilities and decisions. Turbulent individuals are self-conscious and sensitive to stress. They are likely to experience a wide range of emotions and to be success-driven, perfectionistic and eager to improve.

Honestly, the results are pretty spot on with my personality. You guys should try it out and let me know your results in the comments. https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test

Discover Your Master Chakra // Book Review

Overall I loved this book. It was well written and easy to follow. It was pretty spot on once I found out what my chakra was. There is a small quiz inside the book to determine your master chakra. When I took this quiz I wasn’t quite sure of the results because I had one answer that was every color but I had two that where orange so I went on to her website and took the quiz and found out I was am orange for sure. ( http://www.awakenedbystephanie.com/master-color-quiz/ )

After reading the section on the orange chakra I realized it was pretty spot on with my personallity. The Orange chakra is the Sacral Chakra. Learn more about my chakra here http://www.chakra-anatomy.com/sacral-chakra-colors.html .

There are two ways you can read this book. One being in its entirety or read just the color you are. I read mine and my husbands. In the back of the book their are workbooks for each color. I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars due to the fact its a easy read and it was spot on.

Save Me by Alexandra Page // Beta Review

Overall I loved this book. It’s about a girl that was sheltered and decided one day to actually get out and about. She made a trip to a Starbucks where she meets a guy who she finds very very attractive. Then something happened and he felt the need to protect her and he ended up getting hurt pretty bad and she poses as his fiance even tho they just met. The first book of this series is mostly about how they fell in love and about their life together.

This was a very well written book. My favorite thing about this book is how well she describes every detail. It’s almost like I am apart of the story and I can see the characters in my mind. The only bad thing is that it is a long book. I am not usually a person to read long books. Another thing is if you’re under 18 I would suggest for you to get parental permission before reading due to some very adult content toward the end of the book.

This book is a great combination of happy, sad and romance. There were a few errors in the book but have already discussed with the author so there is no reason to mention exactly what errors. She ends the book with a major cliff hanger and you’re like come on what happens. I think it would be awesome if in the print copy at the ended there was like a excerpt from the next book just to put your mind at ease a little. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars only due to the fact that its a little outside of my normal reading likes. Book will be released at the end of July!

Homemade Mac & Cheese

1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni shells or cavatappi

3 tablespoons butter or margarine

3 tablespoons all purpose flour

2 cups milk not skim

1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper

2 cups of shredded cheese I like cheddar

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Bring a pot of water to a boil; add a generous sprinkling of salt the pasta.

3. While the pasta cooks, melt the butter in a skillet or pot large enough to hold the pasta when it’s done.

4. Add the flour and stir over medium heat until the mixture is lightly browned; 1-2 minutes.

5. Add the milk and whisk to remove any lumps and add the salt and pepper.

6. Cook over medium-high heat until the sauce thickens and starts to bubble. About 6 minutes.

7. Stir in the cheese and whisk until smooth and melted. Turn off the heat.

8. When the pasta is almost done but still firm, drain it and add to the sauce.

9. Stir the pasta into the sauce and bake in a greased 2 quart dish (or an 8×8 pan works pretty well) 40-45 minutes until browned and bubbly.

This recipe tastes amazing! I made it for my husband and it was a huge hit. Super cheesy and I like to add bread crumbs to the top of mine.

Happy cooking!

Writing Challenge // Day 4

My favorite song at the moment is How Far I’ll Go by the Moana Cast. The fifth line is “Every turn I take, Every trail I track”

Every turn I take, every trail I track I end up right back where I started. Everything in my life is so messed up. Every time I try to make things better things get even more messed up. I just wish I could be what everyone wants me to be. I wish I could be what I know I can be.
